Marie Baker graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2017 after completing this 4 year intensive program. She is also a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. Prior to this, Marie had 15 year experience in the Wellness industry working as both an Esthetician and a Reflexologist. Seeing how seemingly small changes to the body could elicit big changes drove Marie to the science of Osteopathy.

When not working, Marie enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and dog. She also has a love for history and can often be found reading about many different historical periods.

Tamara Cormier is a Registered Kinesiologist and Yoga Therapist with over a decade of experience working with clients to help them feel their best and reach their goals!

Tamara has always had a passion for movement and has seen and experienced the incredible impact movement, stillness, and breath can have on health and wellness.

After completing her degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University, she discovered Yoga and has never looked back. She realized the incredible potential in combining yoga training with her education, which led her to finding yoga therapy and integrating its concepts into her clinical practices.

She is continually learning and integrating new knowledge and perspective into her practice. She has completed a number of continuing education courses including Osteoporosis Canada’s BoneFit Certification and then Urban Poles Instructor Certification.

Her approach to movement is based in anatomy and biomechanics and addresses underlying patterns and compensations that are contributing to pain, dysfunction and limiting her clients.

Tamara is passionate about educating and empowering clients, including them as active participants in their care.

She sees each person as the unique individual they are, and works with clients to create an individualized program that addresses their specific needs, goals, and circumstances.

She believes in the possibility and potential within each of us, that we can feel better and access that which we truly desire.

She works with clients of all ages (kids & teens too!) who are eager to feel better, move better and reach their goals!

Ally obtained her Master’s in Physiotherapy from McMaster university in 2022. Prior to this, she recieved her Bachelor’s of Health Sciences from Western University in 2020.

As a former dancer and instructor, Ally has a special interest in orthopaedic injuries and is passionate about exercise and patient centred care. Lesley is a registered physiotherapist in Ontario who has been working for over 20 years to help older adults improve their cardiovascular and bone health. Lesley graduated from Queen’s University in 1996 with a degree in Physical and Health Education. From there, Lesley went on to complete a Bachelors degree in Gerontology from McMaster University in 1998. In 2002, she returned to McMaster to complete her Masters degree in Physiotherapy. Lesley stays connected with McMaster assisting in the clinical skills labs and also acting as a preceptor to physiotherapy students. Lesley received her training in acupuncture from the internationally recognized Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University.

Lesley has worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatients, cardiac rehabilitation, mental health, homecare and chronic disease management. Ped (C), a professional trained in the assessment and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions and diseases using foot orthotics, footwear, footwear modifications and related devices. She has a passion for biomechanics, anatomy, human gait and how all that works together in health and injury of the feet and legs. She has more than 30 years’ experience as a pedorthist and currently serves the Burlington/Oakville region as a clinician, hand making her own orthotics for patients with lower limb symptoms. Natalie is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, which is an extensive 4 year academic and clinical program. She completed her program in 2017. She is also a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association which is a professional association recognized by the Canadian insurance company. In 2005, Natalie graduated with a Masters of Education from Griffith University (Australia). Miriam has been working in the rehabilitation field for over 30 years. As a physiotherapist, Miriam has worked in private clinics in both British Columbia and Ontario, as well as at St. Peters Hospital. For the past 20 years she has been providing physiotherapy services to the community of Aldershot.

Miriam received her training at McMaster University earning two degrees in Physical Education (1988) and Physiotherapy (1995). Continuing education is important to Miriam and over the years she has completed many physiotherapy specialty courses in manual therapy, running injuries, the Fit Fore Golf program, women’s health, vestibular rehabilitation and concussion care. Miriam has completed her training in Acupuncture at McMaster University’s internationally recognized Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Miriam became a Pilates instructor over 16 years ago and incorporates Pilates into her rehabilitation approach. David graduated from McMaster University with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2004 and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto (1998). He has been working in outpatient orthopaedics since 2004 in the Hamilton/Burlington community.
